So I've decided to try blogging. Not sure if I'll keep up with it or like it, but here goes. Cody and I have been married for a little over a year now. I can't believe how fast time goes by. We bought a house about 2 and a half years ago. Its an older house, built in 1976, so we spend a lot of time working on it to update it and makes things better for us. So I'll probably blog mostly about our current project. We have a long list of things we want to change, but we've also made some great progress. We re-did and extended our driveway on the side of the house this summer. Thats made a big impact on the house and gives us extra room to park.
We're currently working on our upstairs bathroom. Its been a looong process. The only reason we're even doing it is because our shower broke. The only way to fix it was to tear down the tile on that wall to get to the plumbing. This actually happened in June, so for about 4 months we've been using our downstairs shower. It really sucked. My dad has been helping us a ton, he's actually done pretty much all of the work. We finally got the shower finished last week and have been able to use it for the last few days. Its glorious! We even spent a little bit more than we needed to so we could have some really nice tiles and shower head. We also painted the bathroom on Friday and it looks awesome. Now we just have to tile the floor and get some molding in there and it will be done. I can't wait! Once everything is done I'll post some pictures. It should look really nice.
