Summer Fun
This summer we've been trying to get out and have as much fun as possible, but it's definitely more difficult with a baby. Especially when it comes to nursing and pumping. Yesterday we were able to go to Seven Peaks with my family. We were just missing Kristina and Ashley since they are in Idaho. We had a lot of fun, but I think if we go again we'll make sure to go during the week to avoid so many crowds. The slides are really fun, but not really worth it to me when you have to spend an hour in line waiting. We spent a lot of our time in the lazy river and wave pool. Damion wasn't thrilled about the cooler water, but the wave pool is heated so he seemed to really enjoy that. We just sat in the very shallow end and let the waves come to us. Damion would splash around with the most concentrated look on his face. I wish I had been able to get a picture or video, but we didn't have a camera with us since we didn't want it to get wet.
Damion has been doing really well. He can roll over from his stomach to his back now, but he doesn't do it very often. He's still working on going from his back to his stomach. I think it will just be a little while before he's going back and forth and doing a complete roll. He also recently started to do his own little version of talking. It's really fun to hear him trying to communicate. He'll have his 4 month appointment in about a week so we'll talk to the doctor about starting him on cereal and baby food soon. I'm excited to see his reactions to tasting new things.
Everything else is pretty much the same with us. We spend lots of time working, but any other time left is used to spend with our family.
